Ram Sale Information

Due to expanding sheep numbers new ram buying clients are welcome.

The Dolomite Perendale stud sells rams to all regions of the South Island with a very strong support from Banks Peninsula clients.

We do have North Island clients and welcome more. We will organize free trucking to your property.

Ram Sale Catalogue

Rams are presented for sale with a catalogue detailing SIL ram selection list records which include:

Dual Purpose Overall Index value and ranking
Sub-indexes for growth, meat and reproduction
Individual trait breeding values
Dam’s annual lambing and performance

Rams are priced into 4 groupings based on the SIL Dual Purpose Overall Index

$650	1000 – 1200
$500	800 – 1000
$350	for unsold rams from Feb. 15th

Ram Sale Process

We present 2 options by which rams may be purchased:

Individual client ram selection by prior arrangement and appointment from December 10th on.
Rams selected to order (type and price category) by Ken Elliott for those unable to attend.

Agents introducing and/or accompanying clients are welcome with standard commission paid.

               The Dolomite Perendale Stud is a certified brucellosis free flock.
